My guess is that Live Preview in Dreamweaver has permission by Windows to use the Integrated Authentication. It's just Live Preview that seems to not wanting to authorise me. When I preview pages with the Preview/Debug in Browser option, I do not have any problems and all pages display normally. I correctly enter my username and password, but Dreamweaver doesn't accept the entered credentials (username and password) and thus the live view after 3 attempts redirects me to an error page that says that I'm not authorised to view that page. When I tick this option and then refresh the page I'm prompted with the 'Enter Site Password' window. I currently can use Live Preview, but only when unticking the Use Testing Server for Document Source option in the Live View Options context menu. Our Intranet pages run on classic ASP webserver script, and authentication to webpages when previewing them are via Integrated Windows Authentication. Now I'm really keen again to get that working after so many previous unsuccessful attempts after which I continually gave up. I've so far got by with just using Design View, but have learned via tutorial videos how useful Live Preview can be.

While most web browsers could display this HTML in two columns, Outlook would display each column div as its own row. This lack of CSS support makes it hard to use semantic HTML to build email layouts that display properly in Outlook. Most Outlook versions don’t support the box model or things like flexbox, CSS Grid, and floats. Using tables for layout isn’t a good practice in the web world, but it’s still good practice in the email word, especially for supporting Outlook. Stick to Tables When Creating Outlook HTML Email Template. Then select all and copy the Word doc and paste that into a new email - then save that as a.

To convert them I open the HTML file in Word, then save as a Word 97 doc - that cleans up the code a bit. Your media query responsive code will not work, but doesn't have to be removed in most cases, Outlook just ignores it. It will also show you what Outlook does to the code once it's saved as an OFT. This plugin can be a huge benefit: - it allows you to code wherever you normally do, and then import the HTML into a blank message, tweak, add subject lines and save as an OFT for distribution. OFTs are not suitable to work on Mac, best to work on these on a Windows PC. Responsive OFTs are not possible, fixed width only. You should set the background color in the email and change the fonts there, too.
